Courtney Bynoe joined the staff of the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce in 2009 at the age of 23. Since joining the Chamber, she has rose up the ranks and has been in her current role as Associate Executive Director since June 2016. As Associate Executive Director of the Chamber, she supports its 70+ events a year including 4 major fundraisers. These events range from ribbon cutting ceremonies to the Long Island Fall Festival. Before being promoted to Associate Executive Director, Courtney was the Chamber’s Membership Coordinator for more than four years during which she developed a strong background in forming collaborations with partner organizations and providing guidance to Chamber members and ensure they received an enriching and well-rounded experience through their membership.

In 2010, Courtney became the staff liaison to the Chamber’s Young Professionals committee. This committee was formed to encourage young people from all lines of work to come together to share experiences, utilize each other’s resources, generate business, work with chamber members and build their careers. Through her work with the Young Professionals committee, she has helped many Huntington not-for-profits by encouraging donations at every Young Professionals event to go to different organizations in need. 

Courtney earned her Bachelors in Business Management from Farmingdale State College and her Master’s in Human Services Leadership from St. Joseph’s College.  She is involved with many non-profit organizations across Long Island including; SBPLI, Huntington Historical Society, Joseph Toles Foundation and the MaryJayne Casillo Foundation for Cancer Research. Courtney also helped create and serve on the Associate Board of Family and Children’s Association.

Courtney was a member of Business and Professional Woman International, BPW-I,and served as President of BPW Suffolk as well as their Young BPW North America and Non-Spanish Speaking Caribbean Representative. In this role, she travelled to Italy and Puerto Rico to represent the region at conferences.
