The Small Business Advisory Committee provides free confidential counseling to those who wish to discuss business opportunities or seek advice with issues while growing their business.
Starting a small business is risky and although you may have the desire, be a highly motivated and a talented person, having the knowledge of what is required is what will make you a success. The Committee is comprised of present and retired business executives who volunteer their time and expertise to assist in any type of business related concerns. Their variety of backgrounds in business include retail, wholesale, manufacturing, purchasing, import/export, accounting, publishing, sales and marketing, just to name a few. The importance of having a business plan and managing your money is a topic of utmost importance that is discussed at every session.
Counseling meetings will be conducted on Tuesday mornings and appointments are necessary.
