Resident of Long Island for 40 years, and resident of Commack for the past 16 consecutive years, Mrs. Dano has been working for the Astoria Bank Huntington offices over the past 13 years; she has been in banking for 30 plus years as well.

She has avidly supported the Tulip Festival, sponsored the Celebrating 350 Years of Huntington commemoration, as well as the Fall Festival and Huntington Arts Council Summer Concerts for the past 13 years. She has also been a sponsor of the Heckscher Museum, the Huntington Hospital Teddy Bear Clinic, Kids’ Tools for School at the Dolan Center, LI Reads, Committee of Women’s Fund of Long Island (WFLI), and Victims Information Bureau of Suffolk (VIBS). Mrs. Dano has also collected toys for Tri Community and Youth Agency (TRI CYA).

Mrs. Dano prides herself in connecting people from different backgrounds in order to facilitate proper allocation of time and sponsorship for viable and fruitful organizations and efforts; she freely donates her own time in order to achieve these goals.
