Education & Resource Committee

The Education and Resource Committee is dedicated to the promotion and growth of local business members. This committee is dedicated to providing programs that engage and educate professionals, entrepreneurs, and all those in the workforce from all fields. Throughout the course of the year, this committee offers a venue to address trends, changes, and relevant issues throughout the LI business community.
The Goal of this Committee is to:
- Support and advance collaborative initiatives and relationships with community partners to connect education and business to promote lifelong learning.
- Provide leadership in exploring, supporting, and promoting initiatives to enhance the quality of programs, curriculum, assessment, etc. in order to promote career and college success.
- Continue to breakdown stereotypes and barriers, raise awareness, and promote the equal opportunity of employment for all workers.
- Monitor local, state, and federal education and workforce legislative issues, as well as work collaboratively with and be a resource to the Chamber
Meetings: 1st Tuesday of each month at 8:30am
