The Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce and welcome two new staff members to the team. Kelly Smith is the Director of Member Services and Leanne Gelish is the Director of Operations.

Kelly Smith joins the Huntington Chamber from the Huntington YMCA where she was the Director of Aquatics, and an instrumental team member for over sixteen years. During her tenure at the Huntington YMCA, Kelly developed multiple programs based on the community needs, and, even led an entire branch of water safety for all ages. In 2017, Kelly was recognized as a “30 under 30” Young Professional for her contributions in business and the community. Born and raised in Huntington, Kelly is excited to continue her involvement in the community. When she is not working, Kelly loves film and photography, and you can find her surfing in the summer.

Leanne Gelish joins the Huntington Chamber from Mac’s Steakhouse where she was the General Manager for over six years. Over the course of her tenure, Leanne made community connections through the Catering Program, where she hosted over two hundred events a year. With an earlier background in non-profit work, Leanne has always worked in fields that she is most passionate about. In 2019, Leanne was recognized as a “30 under 30” Young Professional for her contributions to business and the community. When she is not working, Leanne loves photography, hiking, and watching Mrs. Doubtfire for the umpteenth time with her Labrador retriever, Emmett.
Both Kelly and Leanne are excited to work in a town the love so much and are looking forward to working with local businesses and the community throughout the year.
