A litigator for twenty years, Mr. Ansell appears in all federal, bankruptcy, and state courts in the New York metropolitan area on a regular basis. Mr. Ansell’s practice focuses on the representation and resolution of disputes for closely held business, institutional lenders, court appointed receivers, bankruptcy trustees, and liquidating trustees in a broad range of commercial matters including contract disputes, accounting malpractice, corporate dissolution, commercial mortgage foreclosures, and real estate title disputes.
He currently sits on the Brooklyn Law School Alumni Admissions Board, and participates in the Bucknell University Externship Program. Mr. Ansell has lectured at various Long Island high schools in the area of general contract and business law, and is the New York City Regional Chair and panel lecturer of the New York State Bar Association’s biennial lecture on Judgment Enforcement, as well as a panel lecturer for the New York Bar Association’s frequent programs on “Bridging the Gap” for newly-admitted attorneys.
Mr. Ansell received his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in June, 1993, and his Bachelor of Arts from Bucknell University in June, 1990. He is a current member of the Nassau County, New York, and American Bar Associations.
